Clark Construction recently reached out to Kenseal Construction Products for help in securing specialty construction materials for a unique project – training mock-ups for new and current Clark Construction employees and subcontractors.

Superintendent John Rivera pulled a team together to create two 5ft by 5ft mock-up structures. These ‘mini buildings’ exemplify everything from curb transitions to penthouses on a much smaller scale. So why is he doing this? To train Clark employees and subcontractors.

“We are taking the lead in the industry,” say John. “Training our employees on these replicas gives them the knowledge to identify potential problem areas while out in the field and minimizes the risk of having complications in construction.”

The ultimate goal upon completion of the mock-ups is to host orientation classes throughout the year. The classes will focus on highlighting preventative measures that can be taken to reduce construction incidents and the replica buildings will provide an opportunity for hands-on learning.

“We are excited to provide this service which will ultimately save our team production time and money,” explains John.

Paul Pavlik, Kenseal Sales Representative, helped Clark Construction acquire specialty construction materials to make this project possible. Kenseal is proud to support and further education in the construction industry!
