Our Industry Associations
We believe being the best means always learning and always growing from other industry experts. That’s why we’re proud to be part of these prestigious industry associations.
A.H. Harris started in 1916 as a small, family-owned and operated trucking company. A lot has changed since then, but one thing hasn’t — and that’s our mission to provide the highest quality products and professional services to our customers. Our evolution happened organically, and it stemmed from the simple act of listening to our clients. Every decision we’ve made over the years has been strategic, inspired by our customers’ unique needs and challenges.
We began by establishing ourselves as the industry leader in Division 3 building materials and forming and shoring supplies. As we grew, we saw a need for a fabricated steel division, so we added fabrication engineering to our service offerings 15 years ago with the acquisition of HarMac. Most recently, we’ve added Division 7 building materials to our diverse product catalog through a partnership with Kenseal Construction Products. As we move forward, we will continue to work toward our long-term vision to ensure East Coast contractors only need to make one call for high-quality products in concrete construction, repair/restoration, waterproofing and glazing.
The A.H. Harris team (along with their wholly-owned subsidiaries Kenseal Construction products and HarMac Rebar & Steel) and HD Supply White Cap have now joined forces to serve you even better. It’s a winning combination. Both companies share the same core values, uncompromising commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of the challenges and pressure you face daily on the jobsite. Now, together we’ll be delivering the best of both worlds. You’ll benefit from increased resources, strong manufacturer relationships and a host of new locations to support your efforts wherever projects take you. During this transition, count on us to work diligently to integrate service and credit to keep it business-as-usual for you. It’s an exciting time for all of us. We look forward to seeing you on the jobsite and in the store.
No matter how big we get, it’s the small things that make our culture contagious. The way we greet our clients by name and celebrate each other’s milestones. How we go out of our way to help clients solve real, everyday problems. The way we take pride in sharing our latest project with family and friends. Over 100 years, we’ve built more than a business. We’ve built a family.
