What is concrete forming and shoring? Processes and equipment used to hold wet / freshly poured concrete in place until it sets (cures, reaches its desired solid form), are commonly referred to as Concrete Forming & Shoring methods. Wall forms are being used for vertical application and shoring for elevated horizontal application. Concrete Tubes may be used for pillars between levels, oftentimes using reinforced concrete with rebar cages inside for added strength. A.H. The Harris Ply System (also known as Steel Ply) is our versatile hand set formwork system with panel sizes as wide as 2’ and heights up to 8’. Our own signature product, the Harris 1500, is a lightweight clamp system that can be hand set or ganged together to increase efficiency and reduce your labor cost. The Harris 1500 has an allowable pour pressure rating of 1,500 pounds per square foot which allows for 10’ of liquid head. Standard panels are 30” wide and 8’ tall but we also offer giant panels in 4’ and 8’ widths which reduces ties by 40% and clamps by 60% which further reduces labor cost. For larger gang form applications, we offer the Meva Imperial clamp system which has an allowable pour pressure rating of 2,025 pounds per square foot which allows for over 13’ of liquid head. Within the same Meva family, we stock Arcus Circular for radius wall pours, the STB Support Frame for single sided wall forms and the KLK system for a climbing jump form. If you need elevated slab support, we have an assortment of systems to fit your needs. We stock the standard steel frame shoring as well as Ischebeck Megashore system, which is all aluminum with light weight components and has a capacity of up to 22,000 lbs. per leg. The Megashore is perfect for high lift and high load shoring applications. The Ischebeck HV Panel Deck is also in our arsenal. This is a modular panel shoring system that loads from the bottom and eliminates the purchase of the bulk of the plywood that would normally be required. For your heavy duty shoring needs, the XPS-60 System has a 60,000 pounds per leg load capacity and will definitely get the job done. In addition to various hardware (panels, ties, gangs etc.), we also offer a full line of forming and shoring consumables, accessories and form release agents.
