Meet the A.H. Harris, HarMac & Kenseal Leadership Team.
President and CEO: Kim Corwin
Kimberly Corwin has spent 29 years in the concrete construction industry. She began her career in Iowa at Composite Technologies Corporation. She joined Hughes Supply in Florida in 2002 to help with the growth of 2 locations, participating in the set up and implementation of the first ever combined facilities location. Corwin joined A.H. Harris in September of 2003 serving 6 years as Business Development Manager promoting the growth of tilt-up construction in the northeast region through numerous educational events and A/E presentations, as well as advancing the use of welded rebar cages. Then served in the role as Vice-President of Sales & Marketing, from 2009 – 2011, during that time she implemented many new customer focused initiatives, vendor development programs and an internal education forum. Kimberly is currently President & Chief Executive Officer of A.H. Harris & Sons, Inc. with over 40 locations from Bangor, ME to Charlotte, NC. Corwin is very active with the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) and is currently Past President on the TCA Board of Directors. She also serves as on the Promotions Committee and is a member of the Education Committee and Global Associates Council. In addition, Kimberly is the CRSI Pilgrim Chapter Past President, promoting the use of reinforced concrete.
Chief Financial Officer: Mary-Knight Tyler
Mary-Knight joined A.H. Harris in February of 2017 as Chief Financial Officer responsible for all company financial affairs including audit, tax, treasury, accounting, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, credit and collections, and IT. She has over 25 years of financial and operational experience with increasing responsibilities in a broad range of industries including construction products, manufacturer and distributor of home decorative accessories, retail and temporary staffing services. Mary-Knight has significant experience in Private Equity owned Companies and most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Winroc-Spi, an $800 million distributor of gypsum, ceiling tile and related building products as well as mechanical and industrial insulation with 110 branches across the US and Canada. Additional experience includes CFO at Heartland Automotive Services, the largest Jiffy Lube franchisee in North America with over 540 locations and CFO at Roofing Supply Group, the fourth largest wholesale distributor of roofing supplies in the United States. Mary-Knight started her career at Arthur Andersen and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and is also a CPA.
Senior Vice President: Abhi Singh
Abhi Singh joined A.H. Harris & Sons in November 2015 as Senior Vice President of Operations and is accountable for driving key strategic initiatives, corporate and field operations, vendor relations, acquisition integrations, supply chain and safety. Prior to joining the Harris family, Singh served as General Manager of the Metropolitan Washington DC market for Hajoca Corporation from 2012 to 2015. Previously, Singh owned Atlantic Supply Corporation, a Baltimore, MD based distributor of heavy highway construction and safety products. From 2001 to 2010, he served in a variety of regional leadership roles with HD Supply, including Southwest Regional Operations Manager for HD Supply/Hughes Supply, Coastal Northern California & Hawaii Regional Operations Manager for HD Supply/White Cap Construction Supply, and ultimately completing his career there as White Cap’s Mid Atlantic Regional Director of Sales and Operations. Singh’s career began at Ferguson Enterprises where he had a Controller role in multiple California markets. Singh received a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Kent State University.
Vice President of Sales: Ken Pfrommer
Ken Pfrommer joined Kenseal in 1989 as a counter sales and warehouse employee. As the operation grew he assumed a variety of positions including Inside Sales, Outside Sales and Sales Manager in the CT market. In 1999 Ken relocated to the Boston area opening the Kenseal Boston Branch, eventually assuming the role of Region Sales Manager for New England. In 2005 Ken took on the responsibility of the entire sales department of Kenseal as Vice President of Sales, working to build a clear sales process, sales training and developing a professional selling organization. When Kenseal merged with A.H. Harris it was clear that a single point of Sales Leadership was important and Ken became the VP of Sales for the entire enterprise in December of 2016. Ken has a BA degree from Hartwick College, Oneonta, NY. He is a past president for New England ICRI as well as an active member of SEALgroup.org.
President, Kenseal: Paul McKinnell
Paul began his career with Kenseal in 1996. Starting as a counter salesperson, he learned the business “from the ground up” holding various roles in sales, sales management, business development and general operations throughout his first decade with the company. In October 2005, he assumed the role of President and spent the next ten years leading the organization through an unprecedented period of growth and profitability. In March 2016, Paul completed a successful recapitalization of the business through a sale to A.H. Harris & Sons. Paul continues to run the Kenseal division in his current role and is responsible for all aspects of its sales & operations. Additionally Paul is an investor and board member of the parent company, A.H. Harris & Sons. Paul received a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Lehigh University. He is a past president and current member of Sealant Engineering and Associated Lines (SEAL).
Executive Vice President, HarMac (Steel & Rebar Division): Amos Maillett
Amos Maillett has spent over 20 years working in the Fabricated Rebar industry. He began his career working summers for HarMac’s co-founders Pat Maillett and Gary MacFarlane (previously MacFarlane Steel). In 1998, Amos started the role of Fabrication Shop Foreman and Assistant to company co-founder MacFarlane. In 2004, Amos assumed a sales position for the company. In 2014 he was promoted to General Manager for all HarMac facilities (Maine and New Jersey). Since 2015 he has been the Executive Vice President of the Rebar Division, responsible for all aspects and personnel of the rebar division of AH Harris; HarMac. Amos is an active member of the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute.
Regional Vice President (Northern New England): Michael Griffin
Michael Griffin began his career with A.H. Harris, in the fall of 1976, as the first satellite branch manager; located in his hometown of Portsmouth NH. This successful business model would eventually be adopted throughout the Harris footprint, in the Northeast. This satellite branch business model would lead to great success by placing inventories into key markets, to further penetrate local contractor needs. Griffin, studied at the University of New Hampshire, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Management, in 1975, studying biology, forestry, zoology, and geology. While earning his degree, he worked on the I-95 Highway expansion and construction of the Piscataqua River Bridge. Griffin’s leadership was an instrumental component of the successes during the massive BIG DIG project in Boston, during the late 1990’s by implementing strategic vendor partnerships, to diversify market opportunities. In recognizing market segment diversity, Griffin re-structured a “go to market” plan that expanded market share, in commercial, residential, forming & shoring, repair & restoration, and geo-technical markets while continuing to build a strong network of satellite branches. Promoted to Regional Vice President in 2011, Griffin oversees 12 branch locations in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island that comprise Northern New England region of A H Harris.
Regional Vice President (New York Region): David Calicchia Jr
David started his Harris career in 1985 as Inside Sales rep in the (back then) Latham NY branch. In 1988, Calicchia moved into Harris Forming and Shoring division before taking on a role in Outside Sales 3 years later, covering the Albany County market north up to the Canadian border. In 1995, he was promoted to Eastern New York State Sales Manager and helped setting up two new locations in the area. In 2002 he became Division Manager for the region and by 2008 David was responsible for all of our New York regions locations incl. rebar fabrication facilities (excluding the organization’s New York City operations). In 2009, business in the State of Vermont became part of his responsibilities. Two years later, David was promoted to his current position of Regional Vice President and in 2013 his territory grew even further by adding the State of Pennsylvania to the NYR group of Harris facilities.
Regional Vice President (South East Region): Kevin LeStourgeon
Kevin LeStourgeon is the Vice President of the Southeast region for A.H. Harris & Sons. Mr. LeStourgeon joined the organization in 2004 as Sales Manager. He was promoted to Division Manager in November 2011 and later to his current position of Regional VP in October 2013. Prior to joining A.H. Harris, LeStourgeon was in the aggregate industry from 1994 to 2004 serving as a Sales Manager and Operations Manager for Florida Rock Industries. He holds a Bachelors Degree of Science from Longwood College.
Regional Vice President (Greater Metro Area): Dennis Orozco
Dennis Orozco started with the organization in September 2001 as Inside Sales in our Fairfield, NJ branch. From January 2005 he assumed the role of Inside Sales Manager in Old Bridge (now Parlin branch). In 2008 Orozco became Inside Sales Manager for Old Bridge & Fairfield and in 2010 Branch Manager of Fairfield, NJ. In March 2012 he changed positions to become Regional Sales Manager in the Tri-State-Region. In February 2015, he was promoted to Division Manager GMA (Greater Metro Area) and in November of the same year to Regional Vice President GMA. Orozco presently also serves on the Board of Directors for the ICRI Metro NY Chapter.
